Probe A (HV5) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe A (HV5)

For UCI hardness testers

Probe A included in the standard delivery of TQ-4C - UCI hardness tester.

The design of hardness testers TQ-4C provides full interchangeability of probes.

Application

  • Carbonaceous and structural steels.
  • Items with surface-hardened layers such as cementation, nitride hardening, and high-frequency current hardening.
  • Heat-proof, corrosion-proof, and non-corrosive steels.
  • Plated coatings (chrome) and overlaying.
  • Items of complicated configurations.

Operational advantages

Probe A (HV5) for hardness tester TQ-4C
  • Probe A (HV5) provides stable readings independent of force and time of pressing, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
  • With easy measuring capabilities in hard-to-reach areas, Probe A (HV5) facilitates comprehensive testing coverage.
  •  Featuring a control area as small as 1 mm, Probe A (HV5) enables precise measurements in tight spaces.
  • Unlike rival devices, Probe A (HV5) allows for control in slots and blind holes from 5 mm, expanding its versatility.
  • The probe exhibits low sensitivity to surface curvature, thickness variations, and product weight, ensuring accurate measurements in diverse conditions.

Exploitation

Probe A (HV5) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe A (HV5) is specifically designed to address a wide range of hardness control challenges for metals and alloys. To ensure accurate measurements, controlled items must meet specific requirements:

  • Items heavier than 1 kg and thicker than 3 mm require no additional preparation.
  • Items lighter than 1 kg or with a thickness of less than 3 mm should be securely fixed using a vice clamp or support plate with fixing paste.
  • The controlled surface’s roughness should provide the best measurement accuracy, with a recommended value of 1.6 RA.
ATTENTION!

There is a built-in Lemo plug-in in the probe. Connection cable is sold separately.
