Probe C (HV10) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe C (HV10)

For UCI hardness testers

Probe C (HV10) is specifically engineered for rough surfaces and is available for separate purchase. Its robust design ensures reliable hardness measurements even on challenging surfaces, providing precise results in various industrial applications.

The design of TQ-4C - UCI hardness tester provides full interchangeability of probes.

Application

  • Carbonaceous and structural steels.
  • Items with surface-hardened layers such as cementation, nitride hardening, and high-frequency current hardening.
  • Heat-proof, corrosion-proof, and non-corrosive steels.
  • Items with complicated configurations.
  • Products with rough, poorly prepared surfaces.
  • Thick-walled and large-sized objects.

Operational advantages

Probe C (HV10) for hardness tester TQ-4C
  • Stable readings independent of force and time of pressing.
  • Easy measurement in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Ultra-small control area (from 1 mm).
  • Capability to control slots and blind holes from 5 mm (not provided by rival devices).
  • Invisible print on mirror surfaces.
  • Low sensitivity to surface curvature, thickness, and weight of the product.

Exploitation

Probe C (HV10) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe C (HV10) is specifically designed to control the hardness of products with rough surfaces, thick-walled, and large objects. Its robust construction and precise measurements make it an essential tool for assessing material hardness in demanding industrial environments.

Requirements

  • Items heavier than 1 kg and thicker than 4 mm require no additional preparation.
  • Items lighter than 1 kg should be fixed in a vice clamp or on a support plate using fixing paste.
  • Items with a thickness of less than 4 mm should also be fixed using fixing paste.
  • The roughness of the controlled surface providing the best measurement accuracy is 3.2 RA.
Attention

A built-in Lemo plug-in is integrated into the probe. The connection cable is sold separately.
