Probe H (HV1) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe H (HV1)

For UCI hardness testers

Probe H (HV1) is specifically designed for controlling the hardness of galvanic coatings such as chrome, copper, nickel, zinc, tin, as well as thin-walled and small-sized items. Its unique characteristics make it ideal for precise hardness measurements in various industrial applications.

The design of TQ-4C - UCI hardness testerprovides full interchangeability of probes.

Application

  • Electroplated coatings (chrome, copper, nickel, zinc, tin, etc.)
  • Thin-walled and small-sized products
  • Products made from fine-grained materials requiring local research of material properties
  • Items with complicated configurations

Operational advantages

Probe H (HV1) for hardness tester TQ-4C
  • Stable readings independent of force and time of pressing.
  • Easy measurement in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Ultra-small control area (from 1 mm).
  • Capability to control slots and blind holes from 5 mm (not provided by rival devices).
  • Invisible print on mirror surfaces.
  • Low sensitivity to surface curvature, thickness, and weight of the product.

Exploitation

Probe H (HV1) for hardness tester TQ-4C

Probe A (HV5) is specifically designed to address a wide range of hardness control challenges for metals and alloys. To ensure accurate measurements, controlled items must meet specific requirements:

  • Items heavier than 1 kg and thicker than 3 mm require no additional preparation.
  • Items lighter than 1 kg or with a thickness of less than 3 mm should be securely fixed using a vice clamp or support plate with fixing paste.
  • The controlled surface’s roughness should provide the best measurement accuracy, with a recommended value of 1.6 RA.
Attention

A built-in Lemo plug-in is integrated into the probe. The connection cable is sold separately.
