Probe E for hardness tester TQ-3C

Probe E

For Leeb hardness testers

Probe E serves as a crucial component for the Rebound (Leeb) hardness tester TQ-3C, offering precise and efficient hardness testing capabilities.

Crafted with durability and accuracy in mind, this replaceable probe is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of industrial applications.

Application

  • Assessing all basic types of metals and alloys (structural, tool, corrosion-proof, heat-proof, non-corrosive steels and alloys, alloys of nonferrous metals, cast iron, aluminium, bronze, brass) without the need for additional calibrations.
  • Testing items with surface hardening and high-frequency current hardening.
  • Items of complicated configurations.
  • Heavy and large items with rough surfaces.

Operational advantages

Probe E for hardness tester TQ-3C
  • Probe E provides accurate measurements in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Regardless of the spatial position of the probe, measurement results remain consistent and reliable.
  • With a robust housing, Probe E withstands mechanical stress and offers long-term durability in industrial environments.
  • Probe E enables an extended service life, minimizing the need for frequent replacements and maintenance.

Exploitation

Probe E for hardness tester TQ-3C

Probe E, featuring an indenter made of polycrystalline boron nitride, is optimized for controlling materials with high hardness levels. To ensure accurate measurements, the controlled item must meet specific requirements:

  • Items heavier than 3 kg and thicker than 6 mm require no additional preparation.
  • Items with a thickness of less than 6 mm should be securely fixed using a vice clamp or support plate with fixing paste.
  • The controlled surface’s roughness should ideally be 3.2 RA to achieve the best measurement accuracy.
Attention

If you purchase only Probe E, the Hardness tester TQ-3C should be sent for retrofit and alignment to maintain optimal performance and accuracy.
