Adapter “Z3” facilitates measurement of hardness by Leeb Hardness tester TQ-3C metal items with flat or curved (cylindrical) surface with a diameter at least 18 mm.
Special head is screwed onto the probe instead of the standard support nut.
Adapter “Z3” is purposed for following probes:
- Probe D
- Probe D with socket
- Probe E
- Probe E with socket
Adapter “Z3” for positioning of probe on curved, cylindrical surfaces.
Minimum diameter of controlled item is 18 mm.
Preparation for work:
- Unscrew the standard support nut from the probe (probes «D»/«D» with socket/«E»/«E» with socket)
- On the thread of the probe screw the head “Z3”;
- Install the probe with Special head “Z3” on the controlled surface;
- Perform the measurement as usual.
Adapter “Z3” for probe positioning on curved items with a diameter from 18 mm. It consists of a body with a spring mechanism and a support washer.
The main material of the Special head is a thermoplastic polymer, which has a high level of hardness and elasticity, which provides resistance to loads and wear resistance.
