TEQTO makes its North American debut

TEQTO CEO interview at PANNDT 2025

Estonian-based NDT manufacturer enters U.S. and Canadian markets, showcasing a portfolio of rugged, portable tools built for industrial precision.

TEQTO officially launched its North American presence at the VIII Pan-American Conference for Nondestructive Testing (PANNDT 2025), held in Ontario, Canada, on June 9–10. As one of the most significant events for the NDT community across the Americas, PANNDT provided the perfect platform to introduce TEQTO’s portable, high-precision inspection tools to a new audience of distributors, professionals, and institutions.

During the event, TEQTO’s CEO Andres Assor gave an exclusive interview to Inspenet TV, where he laid out the company’s ambitions for the region. “We are interested in entering the Americas, both Canada and the US, and that is why we decided to participate in this event,” he said. “Our mission is to deliver reliable, field-ready inspection equipment for critical industries—and to do so through trusted local distribution partners.”

North America: a strategic expansion

TEQTO’s presence at PANNDT 2025 marks more than a trade appearance—it represents a deliberate step in the company’s global expansion strategy. North America is one of the world’s most advanced and regulation-intensive NDT markets, where demand for portable, robust, and accurate diagnostic tools continues to rise. Canada and the U.S. play a leading role in developing industry standards and drive much of the innovation in oil & gas, aerospace, energy, and infrastructure inspections. Having already earned trust from clients like ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) and Petronas in Asia and the Middle East, TEQTO sees North America as a natural progression in its growth journey.

6 key NDT tools showcased at PANNDT 2025

At the TEQTO stand, visitors had hands-on access to the company’s latest innovations in portable diagnostics. Among the most discussed instruments were:

1. TQ-4Combi. A rugged combined ultrasonic hardness tester.  We selected it for its on-the-fly switch between ???????????? and Leeb—no tool swaps, no downtime, total coverage.

2. TQ-4C – A compact UCI-only hardness tester, handpicked to conquer mirror-polished and curved surfaces.

3. TQ-3C - Rebound (Leeb) hardness tester—chosen to keep inspections moving. With its 2-second Leeb readings on rough, heavy parts, this tool is all about speed without sacrifice.

4. ET-28 – A crack depth meter chosen for inspecting fractures without disassembly. Whether through corrosion or multi-layer coatings, this meter reads deep up to 100 mm so your teams can act fast.

5. TQ-7 – A ferrite meter, selected for its ability to guarantee every weld meets spec in a single touch. Designed for critical industries—from nuclear to shipbuilding—this tool turns ferrite testing into an effortless, standards-ready process.

6. TQ-92 - Acoustic flaw detector. This “delamination detective” embodies TEQTO’s commitment to precision—uncovering hidden splits in advanced composites with absolute confidence.

Each device is designed for extreme environments and engineered in Estonia under strict European quality standards. Whether in desert pipelines, arctic ports, aviation hangars, or energy plants, TEQTO tools are built for real-world reliability.

Distributor-first model and support

As explained by Assor during the Inspenet interview, TEQTO’s go-to-market strategy for the Americas is focused on local partnerships. “We can sell direct, but in this type of industry you normally work with resellers,” he noted. That approach mirrors TEQTO’s success in other global markets, where channel partnerships have proven to be a scalable, service-oriented model.

To support these partnerships, TEQTO provides:

  • Full technical documentation
  • Online training resources
  • Marketing assets
  • Responsive technical support
  • Localized product adaptation when needed

More than a showcase—an opening chapter

Participation at PANNDT 2025 was more than a showcase—it was an active commitment to North America’s inspection and testing ecosystem. TEQTO thanks CINDE, the conference organizers, and Inspenet for their role in bringing together professionals who drive technical progress.
With doors now open to collaboration across the U.S. and Canada, TEQTO invites distributors and NDT professionals to explore partnership opportunities and join the mission of elevating global inspection reliability.
